Maternity leave announcement.

As most of you know I am expecting baby #4 (our final addition) at the very end of December and have decided that once she arrives I will be taking an extended maternity leave to focus on my family most likely from December through April.  Following my maternity leave I will only be taking a couple of sessions a month through the end of 2010. 

What this means for clients hoping to book a session in 2010?  Contact me as soon as possible to find out availability.  Sessions will be booked on a first come, first serve basis.

I have been meaning to post this picture since Friday when Nate discovered that our cat, who we got as a kitten when I was pregnant with Noah, had passed away in her sleep :(  Our kids and I cried (alot) at the news as they were finally getting to the age where she could come and lay by them without being malled (with the exception of Aidan!)  So not only did we get to carve pumpkins, go to a party and trick or treating on Halloween, but we also had to bury our very loved cat and give her a mini-funeral for the kids who wanted nothing more than to buy flowers to put on her new grave.  Here's an oldie of her from a couple of years ago that has always been a favorite of mine.

Baby #4 | 30 weeks

During my 3d ultrasound today, the baby was apparently smooshing her face, trying to hide the entire time so the ultrasound tech had an impossible time getting a picture of her face (she has been adamant about not being seen each and every chance we've had!) but these ones turned out pretty good mushed face and all :)

27 weeks and 4 days

Last time at 20 weeks 6 days.

Miss Makenna.

In her new shirt and bracelet from Aunt Kelsey and her boyfriend Max.  We both LOVE them!  In fact, I saw the shirt on the Crewcuts website and put it in my shopping cart.  (That is the way I shop these days... I put things I love in the shopping cart online at places like Crewcuts, GapKids, you get the idea, and then I watch things disappear one by one until nothing is left... kind of virtual shopping if you will.  :)

Actually it was perfect timing, too, even though her birthday was in August, being that Makenna asks nearly everyday since Noah broke his arm if she can break her arm so that she can get packages in the mail!  So I got to say "see, you don't need to break your arm to get presents!"  And she was pleased :)

Of course all three would stand happily together smiling when they were dressed in miss-matched, rag-a-muffin clothes!  I was just going to take Noah outside quick after he lost TOOTH #2! Yay Noah!  But saw Makenna and Aidan standing against our garage door posing all on their own so I had Noah jump in for a quick snap.  Just for the record, if they were all dressed cute, somewhere fun and interesting (aka not in front of our gross garage door), Aidan would have been screaming and Makenna would have been doing her favorite "pony pose."  I'm just saying. :)

Can you tell that someone is excited to finally have lost his first tooth?!  He's been working on it for almost three weeks and today was the big day!  He hasn't stopped smiling since :)

Miss Makenna can never be left out of anything, even a quick photoshoot these days :)

Aidan. 20 months.

When I decided to get Aidan dressed up for a quick photo session tonight I thought my biggest challenge was going to be getting him to wear this adorable hat.  Not so much.   He LOVED the hat.  Screamed if it even was bumped out of place.  But I definitely was reminded why I have very few pictures of him these days.  Pity parties may be Aidan's favorite past-time but he is still oh so cute in all of his pouting glory :)

And yes that is his writing arm :(  Maybe we were due considering this is our first broken bone with any of our three.  I guess I just always thought it would be Makenna! :)

Speaking of Miss Thing, here is a quick snap before Makenna's first day of preschool today.  She thought she was pretty cool after watching Noah go to Cherry Hills for the past 2 years that today was finally her chance to be the big school girl.
